This groundbreaking series from History sets out to recreate dinosaur battles from the fossil evidence, using modern paleontological expertise and stunning CGI graphics. “Operation Valkyrie” – History
“Operation Valkyrie” was the plot to assassinate Hitler in July 1944. To coincide with the movie version, starring Tom Cruise, History made this programme featuring archive footage and interviews with the survivors. A fish that walks on land? I kid you not! A big and brash style for a larger-than-life documentary, and an example of a programme revoiced for the UK market.
“Tut’s Treasure Tour” – National Geographic Channel
Another example of a programme revoiced for the UK market – this time following the mammoth preparations to host the touring Tutankhamen exhibition, and shown here ahead of the show’s opening in London.
