Nick Heidfeld Website online
I’m pleased to have been chosen to narrate the English version of the TV segments on German Formula 1 driver, Nick Heidfeld’s new website, which has just gone online at www.NickHeidfeld.com
The site has been designed by b.a.n.g. Deutschland Gmbh, with the WebTV clips produced by Peter Reibel of reibelmedia. The direct link to the first clip is here. The voice track was recorded in my studio in London and then edited into the piece in Germany.
“Quick Nick”, as he’s often referred to, drives for the BMW Sauber team and I wish him and the rest of the team the greatest success in the 2009 season!
“Operation Valkyrie” clips now online
Operation Valkyrie was the German plot to assassinate Hitler. Following the premiere of the programme on History last night, I’m pleased to add a short clip, which you’ll find here.
Dinosaur Secrets premieres this week on History
I’ve just finished narrating a major series for History called “Dinosaur Secrets”, and it begins airing this Wednesday (21st January 2008) at 9pm. It’s been made in High Definition, which should really show off the amazing CGI!
From the History microsite:
“Travel back in time to the pre-historic era and unearth the world’s first serial killers. We bring to life deadly dinosaur confrontations and gain remarkable insight into the psychology and physiology of these ancient beasts.”
History is on Sky Channel 529 and Virgin Channel 234, with the HD version on Sky 545.

Operation Valkyrie premieres on History, narrated by Mike Cooper
This Sunday, 18th January at 9pm, tune in to History to hear me narrate a special programme on “Operation Valkyrie”.
From the History website:
“Operation Valkyrie: The Stauffenberg Plot To Kill Hitler” is the true story of the assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler on 20th July 1944.
Claus von Stauffenberg was a German army officer who was one of the leading officers of the failed 20th July plot in 1944 to kill German dictator Adolf Hitler and remove the Nazi Party from power in World War II Germany. Motivated by a belief that continuing the war was bad for Germany, von Stauffenberg is one of the few and perhaps most notorious resisters of Hitler.
In this fascinating documentary we narrate the story through using a mixture of eye-witness testimonies, key interviews with world renowned scholars and family members of German resisters, alongside the last filmed interview of the sole remaining member of the German Resistance, who handed Claus von Stauffenberg the actual bomb.
For the first time, a clear picture reveals the transformation of Stauffenberg from ardent Reich supporter to risking all to bring down the world’s worst tyrant.
Aided with rare color still photos and film footage on Hitler and his closest aides, CGI animation and a painstakingly researched dramatization of the actual assassination attempt, this documentary is the definitive record of what really happened.
As Tom Cruise’s movie, “Valkyrie” prepares to open in UK cinemas, History goes in search of the gripping true story.
Dinosaur Secrets Microsite is live
I may have been slow on the uptake with this one, but History has put up a microsite for Dinosaur Secrets, which starts next Wednesday, 21st January at 9pm.
